Composition: Plastic, reagent;
Materials: plastic, reagent;
Certificate: ЕАС;
Age: From 3 years old;
Holiday theme: New Year;
Type of experiments: With reagents The set for growing magic crystals will appeal to young fans of chemical experiments. 1. Pour gypsum with your child into a measuring cup to the 40 ml mark, then colored powder to the 60 ml mark. Mix the powders thoroughly with a stick. 2. Now pour 20 ml of warm water and mix well until completely dissolved. 3. Fill the molds with the resulting solution and leave them to harden completely (about 12 hours). 4. After that, remove the figurines from the mold and put them in the refrigerator for 3 hours. 5. When the cooling time of the figures comes to an end, prepare the solution in a special jar: mix 100 ml of water immediately after boiling and half a packet of crystal powder (the same color that was added to the plaster figure). 6. Stir the solution thoroughly until completely dissolved within 2 minutes. 7. Immediately after preparing the solution, remove one figurine from the refrigerator and place it in a jar with the solution. 8. Check the figurines after 4 hours, they will already have crystals. You can wait a few more hours or gently remove them from the solution now. 9. Decorate the finished figurines with glitter. Important! Only one figurine can be in one jar at a time. Therefore, crystals should be made on them in turn - the rest of the plaster figures can lie in the refrigerator at this time. Alternatively, you can use a similar container and similarly prepare a solution for the rest of the figures.
